“City of Trees” is my representation of Tallahassee at 200 years. Each species, the Southern Magnolia, Live Oak, and Longleaf Pine, has trees within the city that have been alive for centuries. They are my favorite part of the city landscape.

Two pieces form “Mommy, I’m an Artist.” My kiddo drew across entire sheets of paper using multi-colored markers. I matched thread colors to his hues, then embroidered across the entire paper, following his pattern. In each piece, I left a small “window” to the paper beneath so his original marker strokes are also in the finished work.
