One of my favorite parts of the fall season is seen simply by looking up. The light coming through the yellow, red, and orange leaves seems to take on a whole new quality as it is gently filtered.
Last weekend I visited a few local nature preserves, and even though most of the leaves are still green, they are just beginning to show their autumn tints. Knowing how much I love the aerial views in the fall, I made sure to take a few snaps of the last breath of summer to compare later in the season!
